woensdag 26 januari 2011 12:09 50 Cent start samen met bokser Floyd Mayweather Jr. een filmproductiebedrijf. Het bedrijf dat Curtis met de sporter lanceert heet 'Mayweather Productions'. De rapper acteert de laatste jaren al steeds meer, met rollen in onder andere Righteous Kill en Twelve. Dit jaar is 50 te zien in de dramathriller Blood Out en de actiedrama Vengeance. Het nieuws werd deze week tijdens het Sundance Film Festival in Utah bekend gemaakt.  "We're just celebrating the launch of Mayweather Films", aldus 50 Cent tegenover MTV. Mayweather Jr. voegt daaraan toe: "We're going to do what we normally do: sit in a room and brainstorm and try to come up with new ideas... you know, outside the box. Be creative and just work together and try to be positive. That's the main thing. It's about working hard, being positive and working together."
